Ieva Morica

 

 

 

leva Morica is executive director of Foundation for an Open Society DOTS (former name – Soros Foundation – Latvia). leva joined the Soros Foundation – Latvia 12 years ago as the director of the Baltic American Partnership Programme, and has spearheaded the development of civil society, energy policy and social entrepreneurship programs at the foundation. She is a co-founder of the Partners in Ideas Fund in Latvia and takes part in boards, advisory councils and working groups of various organizations in Latvia and internationally. leva holds an LL.M. in Comparative Constitutional Law from the Central European University in Budapest and a diploma in Developmental Donor Practice from the London Metropolitan University.

 Adi Musabasic

 

Adi is program manager for Baltic Sea cooperation in environment and energy at the Swedish Institute. His responsibilities include advising applicants in their project development and funding opportunities and organizing training courses in international project development with focus on stakeholder involvement and intercultural communication. Adi has international project experience in Baltic Sea Region cities climate strategy cooperation, as peace observer working with indigenous peoples rights in Mexico and in international civil society network Friends of the Earth and the Ecovillage movement.

 

Elmar Römpczyk

 

Consultant and author of books on sustainable development policies, Dr Elmar Römpczyk also works as a moderator of conferences & seminars. He lives in Germany

Zane Olina

 

Dr. Zane Oliņa is the first CEO and now a board member of Iespējamā misija (Mission Possible), a national non-governmental organization that recruits, selects, prepares and supports outstanding university graduates in becoming inspirational teachers and future leaders. She holds an M.Ed. and a Ph.D. in Learning and Instructional Technology from Arizona State University. She has served as faculty member in the Instructional Systems program at Florida State University, developed and taught courses related to teaching and learning, curriculum development, program evaluation and others. In the nineties, she worked for the Soros Foundation – Latvia Transformation of Education program. She also co-founded and directed a national non-profit organization Children’s Environmental School dedicated to environmental education
